Big Bear Lake is a mecca for off road vehicles. Jeeps in particular are everywhere and I enjoy seeing the different varieties of them in and around town as visitors like me arrive to take advantage of the mountain off-road driving opportunities in the area. There are also interesting motor vehicles of all types to be seen. Here are some that I saw on our recent trip:

Old guy in his old Jeep. It looked like a WW2 MB but it was difficult to tell from a distance |

The Austrian Pinzgauer ex-military utility vehicles were everywhere on our visit two years ago; a lot fewer now. The 30+ year vintage of these may be working against them to keep them running and on the road. They look like they'd be fun for off-roading. |

A local hotel always has this parked out front of the building. The plate says '18 White' so I'm assuming it is a 1918 White. Whatever it is, it is in great shape! |

Another view of the vehicle |

We spied this on one of our walks one day. No idea what it is, but it looks cool! |
